Licensing and Class Information
The class is approximately 3 hours long plus 30 minutes on the range.
How much does the Florida Concealed Weapons License and/or Class cost?
The standard cost is $99.00 for the basic 3-hour class. We have no hidden fees or last-minute charges. After you receive your Certificate of Completion from us, you will have to contact the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Their address & phone is 7743 NW 48th Street, Suite 100 Doral Florida (305) 639-3501. You must make an appt with them. They will charge you $97.00. In about 30 business days the weapons permit should arrive.
Have you ever been in a dangerous situation that might have turned out differently if you’d had a gun? We believe that a weapon is the best deterrent against most threats, including muggers, thieves, intruders, etc. After taking our Concealed Weapons License Class and obtaining your locense, you’ll be able to carry a gun in Florida without worrying. Defending your life against unexpected threats should be your main goal. That’s why we provide this class for anyone interested in acquiring a Concealed Weapons License in Florida. The license is valid in Florida and may be valid in many other States based on reciprocity laws. Anyone in Florida can participate in our classes.

We use one of the top shooting ranges in Miami-Dade County
Our specialized class is three hours long. We will teach you necessary shooting procedures, safety regulations, and more. Our shooting range offers one of the best experiences in Dade and Broward Counties. After you complete the course, you will receive a safety certificate saying you’re fit to carry a gun. You will be able to apply for a weapons permit with the State of Florida. You will learn how to shoot safely, and we will also teach you the elementary aspects of carrying a gun. Not knowing when a situation demands a deadly deterrent is dangerous to you. We’ll teach you that and more!
One of the essentials for obtaining a Concealed Weapons License is a safety certificate. This type of certificate states that you’re aware of all the safety procedures and that you’re knowledgeable about using a gun. Without it, you won’t be able to apply for a weapons license in Florida. To get the permit, you’ll have to provide a picture and your electronic fingerprints. The state office will take a few weeks to release your permit.
We have an excellent indoor shooting range in Miami. It’s one of the best in the country. We respect all safety regulations and use state-of-the-art protection technology, such as ballistically-secure ceilings and walls. Our adjustable targets can move up to 55 feet away giving you a realistic challenge and experience. Moving targets are harder to shoot, which gives you good practice. You have to be ready to react calmly in a high-spirited situation! Our gun range is clean, comfortable, and can accommodate pistols and rifles of different calibers (.50 up to .308), and more.

If you believe you will take the class and pursue your Concealed Weapons License, we encourage you to make an appointment before taking the class as some appointments can take a couple of weeks. However, please remember that prior to attending the appointment, you will need to complete the class and take the Certificate that we will issue with you to your appointment.

About the Range and Equipment
The range we use is Clean and Safe. All Weapons and Equipment is sanitized after each use. There are 2 ranges on site; one for the public and one for Students. Our classroom is located only steps from the range. No long walks or need to drive to an offsite range to complete the shooting requirement. At our range, you shoot a real gun at a real target. We do not use catch cans or bullet traps. Your experience will be safe and live! Additionally, you will have an instructor with you at all times.
Frequently asked Questions
Do I have to fire a gun
- Yes, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requires you to fire a gun as part of the qualification to demonstrate your ability to safely handle a firearm. This is done with your instructor.
Do I need to bring a gun or any other equipment
- No, we have everything you will need already included as part of the class.
Do you offer fingerprinting
- Not at this time; however, during your appointment with The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, everything will be done, including fingerprinting.
How much are the classes
- The current fees for our class offerings can be found on the home page.
What about the instructor.
- Our instructors implement safe gun handling protocols. They have many years of Firearms Handling Experience. Additionally, they are Licensed Concealed Carry Holders and are Certified by the United States Concealed Carry Association.
Can I get a license if I have been arrested or have a Felony.
- Every case is different. Please check the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services website for Licensing Requirements which can be found on our Homepage.
Do you offer additional or on-going training?
- Yes, we have programs designed to increase your knowledge and Gun Handling Skills.
